Seaford Museum

The museum is a registered museum run entirely by volunteers of the Seaford Museum and Heritage Society. The museum is located in the Seaford Martello Tower leased from Seaford Town Council for a pepper-corn rent. The Museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm and on Wednesday afternoons from March. The archive team are available on the first Sunday of every month [1 – 4pm] or by appointment, to help with public enquiries on local history, properties etc.
We have around 400 members who receive 4 magazines a year, have free access to the museum, invitations to talks, walks and other events organised by the Trustees.
The Museum is always in need of volunteers to help keep the Museum running smoothly and improve the visitor experience. Volunteers can offer just a couple of hours a month or more to suit! We need Stewards to welcome and assist the public; people with skills to build and maintain the displays [electricians, carpenters, DIY experts!]; cleaners for dusting, tidyi
